Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes straight to the bone
Dear My Skin:
I want to thank you for always being there for me, covering my internal organs and the like, but I must remind you that I am not 16 any more. I am 25 now and I expect that my individual organs get with the picture as well (except you, hair follicles, I have noticed more than a few of you jumping ship). There is no excuse for acne at my age, Skin, really there is not. How much time have I spent babying you, washing you daily and wearing sunscreen on bright days? Is this how you repay my love, by making me look like I have a gaggle of tumors adorning my face? Seriously, if this is some joke from your sick sense of humor, I am not impressed. So help me God, if you don’t get your act together soon I will eat enough carrots to turn you orange, try me!
